Diabetes runs in my family (both sides, Mom and Dad's), and I'm afraid I might get it. What are the symptoms??

Diabetes runs in my family also, and i am a health major. The symptoms i recognize that could be for diabetes are being thirsty frequently and your skin drying out. Other common symptoms are weight gain and fatigue. You can request a test from your doctor at any time. I just did. It is called a glucose tollerance test. You have to drink a sugar drink and have blood work done to see how your body reacts. I hope everything goes well for you, good luck!
