Is it really possible that a dead person farts? Can a nurse or a doctor help?
I heard this story: In the small town of Saboeiro, countryside of the State of Ceara in Brazil, a man died a few minutes after eating a very extremely large Feijoada (it is a Brazilian dish made with black beans). The family decided to burry him the same day by evening. Once the man was in the casket, all covered with flowers and all, he farted so loud that people thought he was alive. They thought he was alive, actually they thought it was a prank, so they called the police. The police came and gave him cpr. All that the dead man did was to fart. The more cpr, the more he farted. The police then thought he was actually alive and that he died during the cpr, so the notary had to change his cause of death from heart attack to farting. So this would be the first time in history that someone dies from farting. Now, is it really possible that a dead person farts? The guy who told me this story could swear it is true and he said everyone in Saboeiro knows it. Can this really happen?
