How many games does El Salvador have to play to qualify for the World Cup?

El Salvador, like the rest of the teams in the CONCACAF group, has 5 games left to play in their group qualifiers. If it finishes in the top 3 of their group, they are guaranteed a spot in the World Cup. If it ends up 4th, it will enter a playoff with a South American team. A 5th or below finish ends their world cup dreams.
