Can birth control cause morning sickness/tender ?

I am on a different contraceptive pill that was making me feel quite nauseous at certain times of the month (mainly just before my period was due) and also tenderness. But the worst thing for me was the emotional mood swings! I found i was getting quite depressive at times, and i went to the doctor about it, and she said it was quite normal for that to happen while on the pill, and she even recommended i take Yasmin! She said it wouldn't give me mood swings, but the thing was, it was just so much more expensive to buy! I've learned to deal with it all now, and i know what its all related to,so i don't worry about it now. So don't worry, you're not alone on this one!
