Alternative Contraceptives?

I recently got strep throat and had to go on antibiotics, and my pharmacist told me to use back up contraceptive, as my birth control would be less effective for an entire cycle after finishing the antibiotics. My boyfriend and I really dislike using condoms, and spermicidal lubricants haven't been manufactured since 2000. Do we have any options besides diaphragms and pulling out for the next few weeks?
