Confused about a boy? PLEASE HELP?

Well my guy "bestfriend" randomly stoppd talkin to me over the summer no respone whn i txtd him.Except one time i asked why do u hate me nd he said he didnt. Thn still ingnored me 2nd week of school i said r u ever gonna talk to me again? he didnt answer his friend said no hes not but didnt even kno why he was mas at me. He used to lik me nd i liked him but never told him.. the other day my friend asked why he hated me nd he said he didnt he just does it to piss me off? I wanna talk to him i miss him we talked everyday :( please help! What do i do!
