Explanation of cell Diffusion?

ye is correct. Diffusion can be explained if you have one room full of smoke and the next room has no smoke then after a while the amount of smoke will be the same in both rooms. The smoke moves from the room with high concentration to the room with low concentration until both rooms have equal concentration. In cells this is the same some substances can p through the cell membrane without needing active transport. Such substances are small molecules ions and lipids and other hydrophobic substances. The substances diffuses over the cell membrane until concentration outside the cell and inside the cell is the same. When water diffuses over the cell membrane into or out of the cell it's called osmosis. Not all substances can diffuse however many need active transport to p cell membranes.
